The Spring run Eerbeek was always organised by the Rotary Club Eerbeek-Zutphen.
This club was disbanded last year due to a lack of members. This also threatened to destroy the Lenteloop. The Lenteloop is now organized by Actief Eerbeek, an event that connects people and fulfills the foundation's active mission.
Every year runners can measure their performance here and try to improve it. The partners in the organization are Actief Eerbeek, Landal GreenParks, the Veluwelopers and cycling association Last Gear.
VLandal GreenParks was chosen as the starting location, emphasizing the race's green character. It also provides the necessary quality for the event, which runs through one of the Netherlands' most beautiful nature reserves.
The surrounding forest owners make their land available under certain conditions, conditions that are respected and supported by us and the participants. The proceeds from the Lenteloop support local charities.

About Eerbeek
Eerbeek, located in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands, is a charming village known for its enchanting natural surroundings and rich industrial history. Surrounded by vast forests and heathlands, Eerbeek is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Veluwezoom, the oldest national park in the Netherlands, is just a stone's throw away and offers a beautiful landscape of rolling hills, open heathlands, and dense forests.
The village itself has a fascinating history closely linked to the paper industry. Paper mills were already active in Eerbeek in the 17th century, and this industrial heritage shaped the village. Today, traces of this history can still be found in the architecture and local museums.
Eerbeek is also a starting point for various hiking and cycling routes that lead visitors through picturesque landscapes and past historical landmarks. With its combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage, Eerbeek offers a unique experience for anyone who wants to explore the Dutch countryside.
