Saucony has been making running shoes in the United States for more than a century. In trail running, the brand is strong with three lines: the agile Peregrine, the highly cushioned Xodus Ultra and the stable Guide TR. So there's always a model that suits your foot and your distance.

Which Saucony trail shoe should you choose?

  • Long distances: the Xodus Ultra 4 has plenty of cushioning and solid grip. Ideal for ultras. Also as a GTX version with a waterproof membrane.
  • Agile and wet trails: the Peregrine 16 GTX is light, grips well and keeps your feet dry. A good choice for Dutch autumn and winter.
  • Extra stability: the Guide TR gives support if your foot rolls inwards. Also as the Guide TR GTX.

Frequently asked questions

Do Saucony shoes run true to size?
Yes, most models run true to size. If in doubt, come and try them on in the store.

Do I need a GTX version?
If you run a lot in wet, cold conditions, a GTX shoe keeps your feet dry for longer. In summer a regular version is more breathable.
