Milestone introduces the new must-have running gear: the 'Onion Hoody' Wind Shell, now in new colours!

Have you ever thought while running in cold weather: "I can't see my watch when I put my thumb through the thumb holes"? Milestone has the solution: the 'Onion Hoody' features a 'watch window' on both arms, so you can easily check your pace, heart rate and distance without any hassle.

The asymmetrical zipper not only adds a unique look, but also ensures that the zipper does not rub against your chin. In addition, the double zipper allows fresh air to quickly enter for optimal temperature regulation. Large ventilation openings under the arms and on the back allow excess heat to escape quickly.

Innovative Material and Sustainable Design

The 'Onion Hoody' is made in the Hokuriku region of Japan, with fabrics specially produced to order. The original colours have been carefully matched using a beaker, and are available exclusively for Milestone in three colours: standard black, soft polar white, and subdued British green. The material used is nylon (20d) with thin threads, woven in a double lip structure, which provides a balanced combination of breathability, skin friendliness and durability. In order to reduce weight, it was decided not to use polyurethane while still maintaining a stretch feel.

Environmentally friendly

The 'Onion Hoody' is provided with a C-zero water-repellent treatment, without the use of harmful fluorine compounds. This minimizes the impact on both the environment and health and makes the hoody a responsible choice for conscious athletes.

Compact and Practical

When folded and stored in the hidden storage pocket in the hood, the hoodie is the size of an onion – hence the name 'Onion Hoody'. This lightweight windbreaker is ideal for runners who want to move quickly and efficiently, no matter the conditions.

The name 'Onion Hoody' is inspired by Marvin Gaye's hit The Onion Song – a song that calls for love and a world without war. This symbolism, together with the current world situation, led to the naming of this innovative windbreaker.
