The route of this trail runs through the dazzling nature of the floodplains around Nijmegen. Participants also walk through the forests towards Berg en Dal and pass characteristic farmlands. A special area, with many hiking trails and unique plants and animals. We hope for snow! That makes the landscape a real winter wonderland.

The proximity of historical sites and cities such as Nijmegen and Arnhem adds an interesting cultural dimension to the area. The Gelderse Poort offers a unique combination of nature, history and sporting activities.
