Description

Plenty of cushioning with a stable feel. The Stinson 8 feels soft underfoot, but thanks to its supportive construction it stays calm when you move from tarmac to gravel or forest paths. That combination really comes into its own on long, steady runs.

You notice the stability when you get tired. The supportive midsole helps keep the foot guided throughout the stride, while the updated upper gives extra hold. That is especially nice later in a long run or on uneven, but not extremely technical paths.

Suited to runners who like to combine surfaces. The grip is designed for smooth transitions between road and trail, so you don’t need a specialist shoe for every part of your route. Choose it when comfort and control matter more than speed and ground feel.

Not the best choice for fast trail races. For that it feels too protective and less direct.

Is the Stinson 8 a stability shoe?

It offers moderate stability. A firmer top layer in the midsole (H-Frame) limits excessive inward roll without over-correcting your stride.

Can you use the Stinson 8 on the road?

Yes. The 3.5 mm lugs are inspired by gravel bike tyres and run smoothly on tarmac, gravel and easy trails. For mud or technical terrain you need more grip.

Is the Stinson 8 waterproof?

No, the upper is made of breathable mesh with durable woven overlays.
