You notice stability when you start to fatigue. The supportive midsole helps guide the foot throughout the entire stride, while the updated upper provides extra grip. This is especially pleasant later in a long run or on uneven, but not extremely technical trails.

Suitable for runners who want to combine surfaces. The grip is focused on smooth transitions between road and trail, meaning you don't need a distinctly specialized shoe for every part of your route. Choose it when comfort and control are more important than speed and ground feel.

Not the best choice for fast trail races. For that, it feels too protective and less direct.
