Description

Lots of cushioning for very long distances. The Prodigio Max is built for ultras like the Tor des Géants and long days in the mountains. The thick midsole absorbs impact, so you keep moving smoothly even after dozens of kilometres.

Stable when you get tired. A wide contact area and a medium rocker give a stable, rolling ride. Especially in the final hours of an ultra, when your technique gets sloppier, you notice the shoe keeps you steady.

Well held on varied terrain. The wrapping system keeps your foot and ankle in place on descents and off-camber paths. The outsole is more durable at the heel and grips well under the forefoot, on rocks, gravel and forest trails.

In doubt? Choose the Max if cushioning and comfort matter more than speed. If you want a lighter, more agile shoe, the Prodigio 2 is a better fit.

What's the difference between the Prodigio Max and the Prodigio 2?

The Max has a thicker midsole with XFlow Endurance foam, designed to keep cushioning longer. It's a bit heavier and more stable; the Prodigio 2 is lighter and more versatile.

Does the Prodigio Max run small?

Yes. Most runners go half a size up; with wide feet, a full size up can feel better.

Can you run on the road in the Prodigio Max?

It's comfortable on paved sections thanks to the cushioning, but it's made for trails. If you mostly run on tarmac, choose a road running shoe.
