Description

Low sock with cushioning underfoot. The light cushioning absorbs some of the impact without making the sock thick. You notice it most in the second half of a long run, when your feet get tired.

The heel tab stays in place. The sock doesn't slip down under your heel and the shoe collar rubs less on your Achilles. That helps during tempo sessions and on hills.

Merino wool wicks moisture. Your feet stay drier on warm days, which lowers the chance of blisters over long distances.

Choose the 1047 if you want a low sock with some comfort. For dusty or muddy trails a quarter or micro crew is more practical.
