Description

A low hiking sock that stays below your shoe collar. It fits snugly around the foot, so it doesn't shift or bunch up in low trail and hiking shoes. Mesh on top of the foot lets heat out on warm days.

Cushioning under the whole sole. The terry loops underfoot absorb the knocks of hard, rocky trails. You notice it most in the last hours of a long day hike, when your feet get tired and every stone counts. The merino wool keeps your feet drier.

Pick this one for summer hikes in low shoes. In mid or high hiking boots the shoe collar rubs against your bare ankle. Then go for the 1987 Light Hiker Quarter, which reaches just over the ankle.
