Size advice Compressport

First, a bit of general advice. For socks and non-compression products: choose your normal size.

For compression products: If you're between two sizes, always choose the larger size. Don't worry! You'll still benefit from the compression. Your muscles swell during exercise, and your size should allow for a certain margin to prevent a tourniquet effect and thus restricting blood flow.

Description

A cushioned trail sock for when your feet work for hours. Thick terry bands under and around the foot absorb shocks and a padded toe box protects your toes and nails. A compressive X-strap around the ankle keeps your foot in place on rocky terrain.

You notice it most in the second half of a long race. When you get tired and your feet start to slide, the compression around the arch and the firm fit stop the sock from twisting. That means less friction and fewer blisters, especially downhill.

Not sure whether to choose this sock or the Pro Racing Socks Trail V4.0? Choose the Ultra Trail Socks for ultras and long trail runs where cushioning and support matter. For shorter and faster runs, the Pro Racing has less cushioning and more feel.

For long days on the trail when your feet have to keep going.

Hele fijne sokken die perfect zitten

Hele fijne sokken die perfect zitten. Had ze in een voor mij goede maat gekocht (39-41) terwijl ik schoenmaat 42,5 heb. Ik hou ervan dat ze strak aansluiten en zeker niet gaan slobberen. De sokken zijn niet te warm, zijn comfortabel en lijken goede ondersteuning te geven. Ik had ze een paar weken voor mijn trail in de Dolomieten gekocht. 36 km, 2300 hm, bovenbenen blubber :) maar mijn voeten voelden prima. Geen blaren, perfect
