Direct and energetic running feel. The shoe feels tight and responsive, with plenty of rebound with every step. You notice it propelling you forward, especially at higher tempos and during prolonged exertion.

Confident and precise on technical terrain. On rocks, traverses, and descents, the fit provides plenty of control and stability. You feel this especially when you become fatigued and your foot placement becomes less precise.

Protected without being bulky. The shoe keeps your midfoot safe and seals well around the ankle against dirt. You notice this on rough terrain where you normally walk more uncertainly.

If you are torn between comfort and speed, choose wisely. This is a performance shoe; less suitable for easy runs or soft paths.

La Sportiva Italian shoe

What a nice shoe, it fits comfortably right away and has good grip on the bottom. Definitely recommended, especially because the shoe isn't American. Because the shoe is Italian, it does run a bit small.

I searched for my shoe for Monte Rosa for a long time. This is going to be the one. A lovely sock that stays in place well and nice cushioning.

Top shoe

Nice shoe, came out well in various reviews so that's why I ordered it. The shoe fits snugly but has enough room at the toes. It also feels fast and light. It runs about half a size smaller than normal for me. I wear a 47.5 in Nike and took a 48 in these.
