The Veluwezoomtrail is the first organized (Ultra) trail run in the Netherlands. In one of the most beautiful areas of our country, the Veluwezoom. On June 20, 2010, Jan Strijker, founder of the event, organized the first edition with 81 participants at one distance, namely 53 kilometers of Ultra Trail. Cairn Adventures took over the event in 2017 and continued it with respect and in accordance with the values of Jan Strijker and grew it into a real Festival spread over two days. (comparable to our Salomon Lighthouse Trail on Ameland)
