This beautiful, well-known Dutch Dune nature reserve on the North Holland Coast offers many opportunities for organizing (ultra) trails. You can move endlessly between the dunes and on the beach. We have created 3 different routes for the Hollands Duin Trail, all of which depart from Vrijstaat Nederzandt in Noordwijk.

About the Dutch Duin nature reserve
The Hollands Duin, a vast nature reserve along the Dutch coast, extends from Wassenaar to Zandvoort. This dune landscape, managed by Staatsbosbeheer, is one of the greenest areas in the Randstad and an essential natural buffer against the North Sea. It offers a breathtaking combination of rugged dunes, dense forests, open meadows and diverse flora and fauna.
The diversity of the landscape in the Hollands Duin is remarkable. The high dune ridges offer beautiful views of the sea and the hinterland, while the valleys between the dunes are home to countless bird species and other animals.
