Description

A padded cap for properly cold weather. The crown is filled with synthetic insulation and the ear flaps are lined with fleece on the inside. Fold them down and your ears are well wrapped up. Getting warm? Fasten them up without taking your cap off.

Made for long days out in the cold. Think winter hikes, easy long runs in the hills or an early walk in frosty conditions. The outer fabric is water-resistant and the seams are taped, so it can handle a shower or wet snow. You notice it most on an exposed ridge where the wind has free rein: your ears stay warm, even after hours.

Torn between this cap and a beanie? Choose the Padded Hiker Cap if you also want a peak against rain, snow or low sun. For intervals or a fast tempo run it is too warm; a thin beanie or light running cap works better then.

In short: a warm, packable winter cap for long, steady days outside.
