Description

A soft fleece band that keeps your ears warm. The inside feels soft against your skin and the top of your head stays free, so heat can escape.

Made for the cold months. Think long runs at a few degrees above zero, windy trails or a wintry hike. You notice it most in the first kilometres and on descents, when the wind cuts past your ears and you haven't warmed up yet.

Torn between a headband and a beanie? Choose this band if you warm up quickly or train hard and mainly want to protect your ears. If it's really cold or you want to cover your whole head, a beanie is the better choice. In prolonged rain, fleece gets soaked.

Light, packs down small and easy to carry in your pocket or trail vest.

Vaga designs running caps, headbands and other accessories in the United Kingdom that are light and fit easily in your pocket or trail vest. From an airy race cap for hot races to a waterproof cap or fleece headband for wet and cold weather.

For us, Vaga is above all a brand with character: light, practical accessories for runners who are outside all year round.

Frequently asked questions

Which size do I need?

The band is one size and fits most heads.

Is the headband waterproof?

No. It's made to insulate, not to keep rain out. Light drizzle is fine, but in prolonged rain the fleece gets wet.

How do I wash the headband?

Hand wash at a low temperature and let it air dry. Do not tumble dry.

When should I choose this band over a beanie?

When you mainly want to keep your ears warm without getting too hot, for example during intervals or long climbs. In freezing temperatures or if you want to cover your whole head, a beanie is warmer.
