Topo Athletic Switchback Gaiter

The Switchback Gaiter prevents small debris from ruining your run. During trails with sand, pebbles, leaves, or loose mud, your shoe stays cleaner, meaning you have to stop less often to remove dirt.

The gaiter feels light and supple while running. It fits snugly enough to stay in place well without pinching around the ankle, even during longer runs or technical sections with a lot of movement. You notice this especially on narrow trails where dirt constantly splashes up.

The universal attachment system makes it practical for various shoes. The combination of the front hook and rear attachment keeps the gaiter stable when the terrain gets rougher or when you pick up the pace on loose ground.

If you mainly run on asphalt or well-maintained forest paths, you probably won't add much value with this gaiter. It only really comes into its own on messy trails and unpaved routes.
