Especially noticeable during longer or technical runs. When your feet slide forward or sideways during descents or turns, the extra padding helps make the fit more stable. This can limit friction and the formation of hotspots.

Useful if you are otherwise pleased with the shoe. Choose this solution when the length and shape are right, but the internal volume is just a little too loose. If you experience pressure on your toes, instep, or sides, extra padding will likely worsen the fit.

Choose it for shoes that are too big, not to correct a wrong size.
