Description

Dry feet on wet trails. The Genesis 2 GTX is the waterproof version of the Genesis 2. The Gore-Tex membrane keeps out rain, wet grass and puddles, while your foot can still breathe.

Stable and protective on tricky terrain. The wide base and the support at the sides give confidence on rocks, loose stones and off-camber paths. The sturdy Matryx upper is hard-wearing and keeps your foot in place.

You notice the difference when the weather turns. On wet rocks and muddy descents the All-Terrain contaGRIP outsole grips well, and after an hour in the rain your feet are still dry. The cushioning is firm rather than soft.

Choose the GTX for wet and cold trail days. If you mostly run in dry or warm weather, the regular Genesis 2 is more breathable.

What's the difference with the regular Genesis 2?

The GTX has a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane. Your feet stay dry, but the shoe is a little warmer and heavier.

How does the shoe fit?

True to size in length, so take your usual running shoe size. The inner sleeve wraps closely around your foot.

Will my feet always stay dry?

The membrane keeps out rain, wet grass and puddles. If you run through water that comes above the ankle, it can still get in over the top.

How much drop does the shoe have?
