Description

A rain jacket you wear over your running vest. Thanks to the zipped rear gusset, the jacket fits over a vest or pack up to 18 litres, so your gear stays dry too. Running without a vest? Close the zip and the jacket fits your body normally again. Two chest openings let you grab your flasks without unzipping the jacket.

Made for long hours in rain and wind. The 2.5-layer MP+ membrane keeps rain and wind out while letting moisture escape, so you get less clammy on long climbs. A front snap button keeps the jacket in place in strong winds on exposed ridges. You notice it most after hours of bad weather, when you're tired and don't want to keep adjusting your jacket.

Easy to carry as mandatory gear. The jacket packs into its own right pocket, so it takes up little space in your vest. The adjustable hood, elastic waist and watch window keep things practical on the move, and reflective details make you visible in the dark.

In doubt? Choose this jacket if you run ultras with a vest and want real rain protection. If you run without a vest or mostly do short loops, a simpler jacket makes more sense.

Raidlight developed the jacket for ultras such as UTMB, UT4M and the Diagonale des Fous. Always check the current rules of your race, though.

What's new compared to the previous version?
