Spray-On Textile Waterproofing is a water-repellent spray for all types of textiles, outdoor clothing and other garments. The impregnation improves the water and dirt-repellent properties of the fabric and extends the life of the garment by protecting the fibres and restoring their water-repellent properties. This product maintains the breathability, colour and feel of the fabric, because the impregnation bonds to the fibres without forming a layer on the surface. Eco-certified with the OEKO-TEX Eco Passport and USDA Certified Biobased Product.

When to re-impregnate?
If the water droplets no longer bead on the outside of your rain or shell jacket, this means that the original water repellency has been reduced by washing. This is the time to re-impregnate the clothing so that the original technical properties are restored.

Why re-impregnate?
After 5 to 10 washes, the water-repellent layer of a garment can wear out. This reduces the performance of breathable membranes such as Gore-Tex® or SympaTex®. A wet exterior can make the garment feel heavier and colder.

Applications:
Can be used on outdoor clothing such as raincoats, ski clothing, softshells, hiking pants, overcoats, work pants and gloves. Also applicable on backpacks, tents, awnings and horse blankets.

Usage:

1. Wash and rinse the garment without fabric softener. Dry thoroughly.
2. Place the garment on a well-protected surface. Spray from 20 cm and ensure that the fabric is evenly wet. Repeat after 1 minute if necessary.
3. Remove excess product with a dry cloth or sponge.
4. For best results, dry the garment in the dryer or tumble dryer, or use a hair dryer or iron when air drying.
