Compact and stable on your back. The bladder sits in its own compartment with hook-and-loop keepers, so it does not shift around. With the adjustable front and side straps you fit the vest to your body.
Drink hands-free on long runs. You take small sips through the hose without breaking your rhythm. You notice this most on long climbs and when you get tired, when stopping to grab a flask takes more effort.
Room for the basics. In front there is a pocket for one soft flask and a zip pocket for small items, at the back one large pocket for a thin layer. That is enough for training runs and day trips, not for ultras with mandatory gear.
Torn between a bladder and flasks? Choose this vest if you want to drink a lot without refilling. If you want to refill quickly, choose a vest with soft flasks.
