Description

For those long days on the road

I prefer running on the trails, but I really do need to put in the miles on the road too. I bought these because I wanted as much comfort as possible. The idea is that your muscles are spared. Whether it was the shoe or not, the day after a marathon (at an easy pace) I didn't have any problems at all. So, wonderful cushioning. For shorter stretches on the road I take the Mount to Coast R1, but for longer runs this is really my go-to shoe now.

Top shoe for the long, easy run

Top shoe for the longer, easy run: quite responsive and very comfortable. I have always enjoyed running in slightly tighter, fitted shoes, and I read in reviews that these are relatively roomy, especially in the forefoot. So, a bit of a gamble. Thanks to the front closure system, you can easily adjust the shoe tighter or looser, and they fit me perfectly. Especially because they enclose the midfoot and heel well. In terms of sizing, I found them to run relatively small. I normally run around a 46.5 (Hoka/Asics); these fit just right in a 47. Overall: a wonderful shoe in terms of both running and comfort!

Stable shoe

Lovely shoe, good bounce, not too much but very comfortable. The thickness of the sole has no effect on stability, so the shoes feel great even when accelerating hard.
Simple design, and refreshing in an era when so much is focused on appearance.
