How much grip does the Torin 9 have?

According to Altra, the Vibram XS DURA outsole grips 8.5% better than the Torin 8's. FootPods let the sole flex with your foot.

Can I use the Torin 9 on trails?

It's made for the road. For trails, take a look at an Altra trail model such as the Lone Peak or the Timp.

How does the Torin 9 fit?

Standard FootShape fit: a roomy toe box, slightly narrower than Altra's Original fit, and zero drop. It runs slightly small, so Altra recommends going half a size up.
