Light, with everything in the waistband. The waistband has four pockets: two for 500 ml soft flasks and two smaller ones for things like gels. There is nothing on your legs, so the short feels free and airy.
Steady at pace. The waistband keeps the flasks close to your body, so they barely move when you speed up. You notice it in races where you don't want to stop to fix anything.
An airy inner boxer. Under the light outer short sits a very breathable boxer. On warm days and in long races it helps limit chafing.
Torn between this and the Sherpa Max? Choose the Race if you want to run light and have aid stations along the way. If you need to carry more, the Max gives you more room.
