A very light frame with a fixed, dark lens. The wide panoramic lens gives a big view and you barely feel it on long runs.
The Spectron HD 3 lens is category 3: clear and high in contrast, but always dark. You notice it on open stretches in bright sun, where you would otherwise squint. Ventilation at the front keeps the lens clear when you work hard. There are two colours: white with a red-blue mirror lens and translucent brown with a light pink lens.
Unsure? Choose the Spectron HD if you mostly run in the sun and do not want the lens to change tint. If you keep switching between forest and open terrain, the Intensity Reactiv is more practical. If you have a wide face, look at the Faster XL.
