Julbo comes from the French Jura and has been making eyewear for the mountains for more than a century. The brand works with Kilian Jornet and is known for its Reactiv lenses: photochromic lenses that automatically get lighter or darker. So you see clearly, from the dark forest to the bright sun above the tree line.

Reactiv or Spectron: which lens should you choose?

  • Reactiv: adapts automatically to the light. Ideal if you run in changing conditions, such as forest, mountains and cloud.
  • Spectron HD: a fixed-tint lens with lots of contrast, for sunny days. More affordable and also very suitable for a Dutch summer.

Which model suits you?

  • Maximum coverage: the Shield has a large shield and protects your eyes from sun and wind. Also available as the Shield M for smaller faces.
  • Sporty and light: the Intensity and the Faster are designed for running, with a snug fit and a wide field of view.
  • Kilian Jornet editions: the Liry, Faster and Intensity are also available in Kilian's colours.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear Reactiv glasses in the dark?
The lightest setting is fairly clear, so you can usually keep them on at dusk. In complete darkness it's better to take them off.

Which Julbo size fits me?
Many models come in different sizes (M, L, XL). If you have a narrow face, choose an M. Feel free to try them on in the store.
