Description

Fully cushioned from toe to cuff. The terry loops run through the whole sock, making it thicker and softer than a regular hiking sock. Your foot is wrapped in a layer of cushioning.

For days with lots of kilometres and weight on your back. On long descents and stony paths you'll notice pressure points come through less, especially when your feet get tired at the end of the day. The sock stays put while you walk.

Warm and dry in cooler conditions. The high merino wool content keeps your feet warm in spring and autumn and moves moisture away on long climbs. The boot height protects your ankle and shin from the shaft of your boot.

Because of its thickness you need a bit more room in your boot. On warm days the 1907 with lighter cushioning is more comfortable.

Darn Tough sokken: Comfort plus kwaliteit voor extreme condities

Ik heb al meerdere Darn Tough sokken (light, medium en heavy).
Mogelijk zijn er 'ergens' nog betere sokken. Maar de lat ligt hoog. De prijs van kwaliteits sokken overigens ook.
Ik ben een hiker. Ik hecht dus grote waarde aan sokken. Speciaal in natte en winter condities.
