Description

Made for wet and muddy trails. The shoe feels light and direct, so you can hold your pace without mud or water weighing it down. That makes it a good fit for races and fast training sessions in bad conditions.

Grip stays reliable on slippery ground too. On steep climbs, muddy descents and wet roots you notice the outsole keeps holding, so you can keep running with more control. The fit is snug without feeling clumsy.

Designed for rough terrain. The upper drains water quickly and the toe protection helps when you run through stones, branches or deep mud. Especially on long stretches of wet terrain you notice the shoe keeps feeling light.

Lots: the Vibram Megagrip Litebase outsole has 6.5 mm lugs that hold in mud and on soft ground.

What's the difference from the Kjerag 02?

The Brut is tougher and reinforced for cold, muddy conditions, with deeper lugs (6.5 mm versus 3.5 mm) and better drainage. The Kjerag 02 is made for fast races on technical terrain.

Is the Kjerag Brut waterproof?

No. The Matryx Micro upper is light and breathable, lets water drain and dries quickly.
