How waterproof is this Rab Downpour Trail Light?

The jacket is made of 2.5-layer Pertex Shield with a 20,000 mm waterproof rating and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. That keeps you dry on trail runs in rain and wind.

How do I carry the jacket when it's dry?

The chest pocket is also the stuff sack: the jacket fits inside and is then compact enough for your vest or pack.

Is the hood adjustable?

Yes. The hood has a stiffened peak and is fully adjustable. When you don't use it, you roll it away.

Can I vent the jacket with a zip?

No, there are no vent zips. The fabric does breathe (20,000 g/m² per 24 hours). You adjust the hem on one side at the back, and the cuffs are partly elasticated.
