Description

Made for technical trails where control matters. The Speedgoat 7 feels stable on rocky ground and gives you confidence on steep climbs and descents. It runs more responsive and less sluggish than earlier versions.

Grip that keeps working when things get tricky. The outsole holds well on wet stones, loose gravel and muddy sections, so you need fewer corrections in your stride. You notice how predictable the shoe stays especially on long descents with tired legs.

Comfort for long days in the mountains. The upper locks down the midfoot securely and you can easily attach a gaiter to keep out stones and sand. The toe box is fairly narrow though: if you have wide feet, look at the Speedgoat 7 Wide.

Choose this one for rough trails and long distances. For fast runs on flat paths, a lighter, more flexible trail shoe makes more sense.

Does the Speedgoat 7 run small or large?

It runs slightly small and the toe box is fairly narrow. Many runners go half a size up from their usual running shoe size.

What is the difference with the Speedgoat 6?

The Speedgoat 7 has a new supercritical EVA midsole that feels more responsive, a redesigned upper with a more comfortable heel collar and updated lugs for mixed terrain. You can now also attach a gaiter.

Is the Speedgoat 7 waterproof?

No, the upper is made of breathable textile. If you want dry feet in wet weather, choose the Speedgoat 7 Gore-Tex.

Is there a wide version?

Yes, the Speedgoat 7 also comes as a Wide version with more room for your feet.
