Very waterproof: the hydrostatic head is 20,000 mm. The fabric is PERTEX Shield Revolve made of 100% recycled polyester, and a Storm Proof closure keeps the zip sealed against rain.

Yes. The jacket is ultralight and packs down small into its own pack-it pocket, so it fits easily in your vest.
