OrganoTex | Spray-On Textile Waterproofing | Water-repellent spray
Spray-On Textile Waterproofing is a water-repellent spray for all types of textiles, outdoor clothing, and other garments. The impregnation improves the fabric's water- and dirt-repellent properties and extends the garment's life by protecting the fibers and restoring their water-repellent properties. This product preserves the fabric's breathability, color, and feel because the impregnation bonds with the fibers without forming a layer on the surface. Eco-certified with the OEKO-TEX Eco Passport and USDA Certified Biobased Product.
When to re-impregnate?
If water droplets no longer bead on the outside of your rain or shell jacket, it means the original water repellency has been reduced by washing. This is the time to re-impregnate the garment to restore its original technical properties.
Why re-impregnate?
After 5 to 10 washes, a garment's water-repellent finish can wear off. This reduces the performance of breathable membranes like Gore-Tex® or SympaTex®. A wet exterior can make the garment feel heavier and colder.

Applications:
Suitable for outdoor clothing such as raincoats, ski wear, softshells, hiking pants, overcoats, work trousers, and gloves. Also suitable for backpacks, tents, awnings, and horse blankets.
Usage:
- Wash and rinse the garment without fabric softener. Dry thoroughly.
- Place the garment on a well-protected surface. Spray from a distance of 20 cm, ensuring the fabric is evenly wet. Repeat after 1 minute if necessary.
- Remove excess product with a dry cloth or sponge.
- For best results, dry the garment in the dryer or tumble dryer, or use a hair dryer or iron to air dry.
