The AA stream rises between the villages of Ravels and Eel, both located south of the border village of Poppel. It meanders through the countryside past Poppel towards the Gorp en Roovert estate, where it crosses the border. Beyond Poppel, the stream is therefore called the Rovertsche Leij.
The first few kilometers follow the stream through the countryside towards the woods. Once we cross the Dutch border, the route passes through various nature reserves.
It is a flat trail and is suitable for both advanced and less experienced trail runners.
