Review Compressport Postural Trail Top - Trail.nl

My closet is overflowing with shirts. Samples, finisher shirts, marketing shirts, test shirts, and shirts I'd like to have myself. However, these past few months, I've often been running in the same shirt whenever I'm running anything more than about 10 kilometers. That's because I want to carry some gear without having to wear a vest or belt. In principle, you can do that with the Fusion long or short tights, but my case with built-in battery pack is just a bit big for my tights. That's why I usually grab the Compressport Postural Trail Top out of the closet.

A built-in Free Belt

This is what makes the shirt unique in my opinion. I also have a nice Ultra shirt from Ronhill with 5 pockets, but they are less conveniently placed than in this one. In principle, there are four large compartments. So one or two Soft Flasks, your smartphone, and then some room for food or a jacket. And of course, you still have your tights, so there are plenty of pockets.

Breathable and light

The shirt is made of ultra-light material that is breathable, which It's really nice for running. You stay cool and comfortable, even in warm weather and intense exertion. The shirt wicks moisture away from your body, which helps prevent overheating. Now that we're entering the colder months, I think it's time to consider a long-sleeved top in addition to the tank and short-sleeved top.

The marketing terms

Compressport also uses fancy terms like microfiber and ergofit. What it really boils down to is that the shirt fits well and is made of good fabric. It does have a tight fit, but that's what Compressport is for, of course. The top and bottom of the zippers are covered with an extra layer of fabric, both inside and out, to prevent chafing. A nice touch.

The "Postural" part

The title of the product also states postural. By this they mean that it is a ergonomic shirt with posture support is. I find that difficult to judge. The compression zone in the back of the shirt This should improve your posture while running, relieving strain on your back and shoulders. It's useful if you're running long distances.

Conclusion Compressport Postural Trail Top

In my large pile of shirts, this is the one I'm most inclined to grab right now. I think that says it all. It fits comfortably, and the pockets are just really handy.
