The Traverse feels sturdy and stable without becoming clunky. During long days on technical trails or mountain paths, the shoe provides a lot of confidence underfoot, while remaining flexible enough to keep moving comfortably.

Protection is central to the design. On rocky terrain, loose stones, and root-covered paths, the shoe absorbs hard impact well, preventing your feet from fatigued as quickly. You will notice how much relief this provides, especially during long descents or rugged traverses.

The grip remains reliable in varying conditions. On wet stones, muddy sections, and slippery forest paths, the sole maintains excellent control, while the shoe continues to feel relatively light when wet. This makes it suitable for long hikes with a wide variety of terrain and weather.

If you are looking for a direct trail shoe for speed and playful running, this one will probably feel too robust. The Traverse clearly opts for durability and protection.
