Free Technology for a Carefree Experience All Trail Runner Free lamps have the power cord integrated into the headband, which we call Free Technology. This ensures a comfortable headlamp without distracting cords or tangled wires. No fuss – just pure energy.

Includes Hybrid Battery Holder The Hybrid battery holder can contain both the included rechargeable Hybrid battery and 3 x AAA batteries (not included).This means that you can use AAA batteries as a backup when the rechargeable battery is empty. The casing has a grip-friendly surface and an integrated red rear light for extra visibility. The Trail Runner Free 2 Hybrid comes with the rechargeable 1.25 Ah (4.6 Wh) Hybrid battery, designed for use with the Hybrid battery holder. This compact battery is the perfect choice for those who really want to go lightweight. The battery has an integrated battery indicator and can be charged anywhere with the included USB cable.

Optimized Light Distribution With the second generation of the Trail Runner Free, the cooling has been optimized with a more powerful cooler, allowing the lamp to produce up to 550 lumens (depending on the type of battery) while remaining comfortable and lightweight.Our ultra-runners have played a crucial role in the design process and the Trail Runner Free 2 series is made for running in every aspect. All three headlamps in this series feature Silva Intelligent Light. This means you get dual beam technology, with light settings that are perfect for running. Our unique combination of a long-distance spot and a wide beam results in fewer head movements, better control, improved balance, less fatigue, and higher speed.

Comfort in Every Detail Despite the focus on technological breakthroughs, we have not forgotten the importance of weight optimization. Every part of this headlamp has been optimized and the headlamp itself weighs only 61 grams (excluding batteries).The lamp is perfectly balanced, with smooth adjustments and a flat, soft, textile extension cord that doesn't get tangled. The headband is soft, but sturdy enough, with a silicone strip on the inside to stay in place. The battery can be comfortably worn on the headband or kept warm in your pocket to extend the battery life with the included textile extension cord.
