Description

Light that looks along with you. With Reactive Lighting, the NAO RL measures how much light is needed and adjusts the brightness itself. Look at your feet and it dims. Look far ahead and you get up to 1500 lumens. So you click less and your battery lasts longer.

Built for long nights. The 3200 mAh battery sits at the back of your head and keeps the lamp balanced. An extra top strap gives grip when you run hard downhill. The battery is swappable, and via USB-C you can even use it to top up your phone or watch.

Be seen. The red rear light shines constantly or flashes and has its own on/off button. Handy on a road to the start or in a busy race. A lock stops it switching on in your bag.

This is a lamp for serious night work: ultras, long training runs in the mountains and technical trails. Mostly doing short evening loops? Then a lighter lamp is more comfortable.

How long does the NAO RL last?

According to Petzl, in Reactive Lighting: 10 hours on Max Burn Time, 5 hours on Standard and 2 hours on Max Power. In Standard Lighting it lasts up to 80 hours at 10 lumens.

What does Reactive Lighting do?

A sensor measures the light that comes back and adjusts the brightness automatically. You get lots of light when you look far ahead and less when you look at your feet. That saves your battery.

Can I swap the battery?

Yes. The R1 battery clicks out, so with a second battery you just keep going. With the R1 extension cord you carry the battery in your vest or jacket, warm and out of the wind.

Is the NAO RL waterproof?

It's IPX4: resistant to rain and splashing, but not for submersion.
