Built for long days in the mountains. The Ultratrail FX.One Superlite combines a lightweight feel with direct support during climbs and technical passages. Especially on long ultra-trails, you notice that the poles save energy without constantly feeling present in your hands.

Efficient when fatigue starts to build. The Trail Shark system keeps the connection tight and stable, ensuring power is transferred directly during steep climbs. You feel this especially late in a race, when rhythm and support become more important than pure speed.

Quickly deployable on varying terrain. The foldable construction makes it easy to quickly store the poles or reuse them during descents and flat sections. The extra grip zone helps with this when you want to reach lower on the pole on steeper sections without adjusting your position.

Undecided between race-oriented and all-round use? Choose this pole if you primarily run ultras and mountain races with significant elevation gain. If you are looking for a robust training pole for daily use or alpine conditions, sturdier models make more sense.

The German brand from Kirchheim/Teck makes poles for trail running, from aluminium models to light carbon race poles. Frequently asked questions

Is carbon more fragile than aluminium?

Carbon is lighter and stiffer, but can break more easily after a hard knock or if the pole gets wedged between rocks. Aluminium bends before it breaks. If you often run on very rocky terrain, keep that in mind.

Which pole length do I need?

Hold the pole upright with the tip on the ground: your elbow should make roughly a right angle. On steep climbs a slightly shorter pole often works better, on flat sections and descents a slightly longer one. This pole is available from 105 to 130 cm in 5 cm steps.

Can I fold the poles and put them in my trail vest?

Yes, the pole folds down with a push-button system to a packed length of 35 cm.

What is the difference from the Ultratrail FX.One?

The Superlite is lighter, while the regular Ultratrail has thicker tubes and therefore feels sturdier. Choose the Superlite for long races where every gram counts, the regular Ultratrail if you want a bit more sturdiness.

De beste ultra trail stokken die er zijn op de markt. Vrij schaars in mijn maat toen ik er naar op zoek was online. Maar gelukkig had deze blijkbaar leuke zaak in Amsterdam ze nog wel. De rest van de website heeft voor trail runners een lekker breed assortiment. Kan iedere trail runner deze website/ winkel aanraden!

Perfecte stokken

Heb ze mee gehad naar de Grizzly 100. Merendeel van de run gedragen en veel gebruikt. Lichtgewicht, snel in te vouwen en op mijn vest te maken. Het systeem met het handschoenentje gaat ook lekker.
