These shoes are quite comfortable but the color is so different that I can't go above 3 stars. The stock photos look like a stylish mix of light brown and copper rust green. In reality it is bright orange and blue; this feels quite misleading. Altra would do well to use better photos.

After hearing a lot of good things about hiking in trail runners instead of hiking or mountain boots, I bought a pair of Terraventures for a multi-day trip in the mountains of Norway.

The tight fit in the middle and back of the foot combined with the ocean of room in the front makes for a perfect combination of control and comfort. I felt super agile, and for the first time ever I was able to do a multi-day trek without blisters on my feet.

The Megagrip sole also lived up to its name. On steep rocky descents I felt super confident.

The shoe is low and ventilates well; this does mean that if you walk in a puddle or a swampy area, there is guaranteed to be water in your shoes. Fortunately, the shoe is then dry again in no time.

I have never walked so comfortably, and if I wear these I will buy them again without hesitation.

easy to adjust to the size of your legs, fit very comfortably and have underpants in the pants which is also very nice.
Doesn't weigh much, but isn't super light.

So delicious, I almost wanted to spread it on my sandwich.

Walked a lot on OCR because of the good grip.

Ideal for survival training. Feel a little less robust than the Salomon, but much lighter and a lot of grip in the mud. For longer distances these shoes are ideal.

The mid version does have that.

Socks fit great, I have size 40, and have chosen socks size 37 to 40.5. Fits me perfectly.

As far as I have worn it, 2 weeks, it works fine. Breathes well and clothes under the jacket do not get wet.

I've only tried them once but I immediately felt the benefits of the compression. Plus, it was my first time trying toe socks, and I have to say I'm super satisfied. Extremely comfortable and, above all, goodbye blisters
