Description
Description
Your trusted stability training shoe, but waterproof. The Guide TR GTX has the comfort and protection of the Guide 19, with grip for unpaved paths and a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper. So you can run through rain and wet grass without wet feet.
Dry and stable on long, wet sessions. The membrane keeps out rain, puddles and splashing water, while the broad base keeps your foot calm. You notice it most on long autumn runs where you switch between wet tarmac and soggy paths for hours.
Grip without losing the feel on the road. The tread holds well on gravel and forest paths and rolls smoothly over tarmac. Water that comes in over the collar does stay inside; a gaiter prevents that.
In doubt? If you mainly run in the cold, wet months, go for the GTX. In summer and on dry routes the regular Guide TR stays cooler.

Why Saucony?
Why Saucony?
Many trail runners started out on the road. And chances are they did so in a pair of Sauconys. That is why we consider Saucony such a strong brand for the transition to off-road running.
With models like the Ride TR and Guide TR, you have an ideal shoe for gravel, forest paths, and mixed routes. Do you want to tackle technical trail work afterwards? Then Saucony also has trail shoes like the Xodus and Peregrine, allowing you to confidently take on mud, hills, and singletracks.
Bee Trail.NL We therefore see Saucony as a brand that allows you to grow: from your first unpaved kilometers to serious trail adventures. That makes it a logical choice for runners who want to get off the asphalt more and more often.
