Comfort remains important over long distances. The cushioning absorbs repeated impact well, and the shoe remains stable when the terrain becomes rougher. You particularly notice the combination of grip and cushioning with tired legs, on long descents, and on slippery sections.

Practical in bad weather and cold. The toggle closure is quick to adjust, even with gloves, and reflective details help when running in low light. Keep in mind that the waterproof construction feels less breathable during warm, dry runs.

Choose this one for wet and long trails. For dry races or maximum breathability, the regular Speedgoat makes more sense.
