UltrAspire at Trail.nl: vests, belts and light for ultrarunners

UltrAspire was founded by ultrarunners from Utah and makes carry systems that stay comfortable over long distances. The brand is also known for its waist lights: a lamp on your hips that shows shadows and therefore gives depth to the trail. Ideal in combination with a headlamp.

Light on your hips: the Lumen 800

The Lumen 800 Solstice is worn around your waist. Because the light sits lower than a headlamp, you see rocks and roots better. Many ultrarunners use it together with a headlamp for night sections. Also see our headlamps.

Vests and packs

The Alpha 6.0 Race Vest has 6 litres of space and two soft flasks, enough for a marathon or short ultra. For long outings and fastpacking there's the Traverse Hydration Pack. Compare them with all our trail vests.

Belts as an alternative to a vest

Do I still need a headlamp with a waist light?
Yes, a headlamp is usually mandatory in races. The waist light is an addition that shows you better where you're running.

Do the belts stay stable?
Yes, they're made to sit low on your hips, where they move the least. Tighten them firmly, but not so tight that they pinch.
