Description

Maximum cushioning for long days. The Vista has the highest stack of all Topo trail shoes: a thick ZipFoam midsole with a rocker that lets you roll through smoothly. Especially in the final hours of an ultra or a long mountain outing, you notice that your legs have to absorb fewer impacts.

Grip on rugged terrain. The Vibram Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs holds on wet stones, roots, mud and loose ground. The sturdy, tightly woven upper keeps your foot in place, even when the trail gets cambered or messy.

Plenty of room, less speed. The wide, anatomical toe box gives your toes room on long descents, and the gaiter system lets you easily attach a gaiter. For races it feels a bit heavy; if you want more directness, check out the MTN Racer 4.

How much cushioning does the Vista have?

The most of all Topo trail shoes: 38 mm under the heel and 33 mm under the forefoot, with a 5 mm drop. It weighs about 255 grams in women's US 7.

What is the difference with the MTN Racer 4?

The Vista has more cushioning (38/33 mm versus 33/28 mm) and a rocker for a smooth roll. The MTN Racer 4 is lower, more direct and faster on technical terrain.

How does the Vista fit?

It fits true to size: take your usual running shoe size. The toe box is roomy and the midfoot and heel fit snugly. If you have wide feet, consider half a size up.

Hele fijne schoen!

Ik ben ontzettend blij met de Topo Vista trailschoenen. Een goede pasvorm voor mijn brede voorvoet en smalle enkel. Ik heb de schoenen nu getest in het bos en op heel stenig terrein in Spanje. Voor de echt puntige stenen zijn ze misschien net wat te zacht, maar het alternatief zou mij weer tegenstaan op de andere typen terrein. Hopelijk maken ze de volgende editie met een zachtere tong, net als bij de mtnracer. Bedankt Trail.nl voor het fijne advies bij de aanschaf van deze schoen!
