Description

Soft and calm over long distances. The Ultraventure 4 has a thick ZipFoam midsole that absorbs impact without feeling wobbly. Especially after a few hours, when your legs get tired, you notice how relaxed it keeps running.

At its best on mixed routes. Tarmac, gravel, wide forest paths and dry trails alternate effortlessly. The Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole has a shallow tread: fine on hard ground, but on mud and wet, steep sections you lack grip.

Plenty of room for your toes. The extra roomy toe box gives your feet freedom of movement, even when they swell during a long day. That also makes it pleasant for hikes and easy long runs. Want the newest version with a sturdier upper? Then check out the Ultraventure 5.

What is the difference between the Ultraventure 4 and the Ultraventure 5?

The stack (35/30 mm) and 5 mm drop are the same. The Ultraventure 5 has slightly softer ZipFoam in a new midsole design, a sturdier mesh with overlays and a universal gaiter system.

How much cushioning does the Ultraventure 4 have?

Lots: a ZipFoam midsole with 35 mm under the heel and 30 mm under the forefoot. It weighs about 295 grams in men's US 9.

Is the Ultraventure 4 waterproof?

No, the upper is made of recycled mesh and breathes well. If you want dry feet, check out the Ultraventure 5 GTX with a GORE-TEX membrane.

How does the Ultraventure 4 fit?

It fits true to size: take your usual running shoe size. The toe box is extra roomy, the midfoot and heel fit snugly.

Een zeer snelle verzending. Schoenen werden in nog geen 1.5 uur naar de bestelling eind van de middag al verzonden en kon ze de ochtend daarop bij een pakketpunt ophalen.

Super snelle en goede verzending, helaas voor mij passen de schoenen niet goed, te groot. Lopen verder fantastisch, alleen ik ben er al mee naar buiten geweest. Topo is echt een aanrader.

Fijne schoenen

De ‘size guide’ van Trail.nl was een goed hulpmiddel om de juiste maat te bestellen. De schoenen sluiten goed aan bij de hak en middenvoet. De voorvoet en tenen hebben de gewenste ruimte. Ik gebruik de schoenen voornamelijk om te wandelen(met of zonder rugzak). Rustig aan uitgeprobeerd met 2 kortere wandelingen van 5 kilometer. De schoenen lopen plezierig. Goed grondgevoel en goede demping op onverharde paden. Ook op verharde wegen lopen de Ultaventures 4 fijn; de demping voelt dan niet ‘wollig’ aan. Precies wat ik zocht. Kortom een goed begin. Ik hoop er ook mooie meerdaagse tochten mee te kunnen lopen.

Comfortabel en ruim

Andere trailrunschoenen zijn soms te smal in de voorvoet voor mij, maar deze zijn op dit vlak uitstekend. Ondanks ruimte fit zit de schoen stevig. Voor mij hebben de Ultraventure een goed afgewogen balans tussen comfort en responsiviteit. Aanrader.

Een fijne ondersteuning in het vinden van een passende schoen. Al lang op zoek en ze zitten heerlijk. Veel typen, maten geprobeerd en geretourneerd voor een andere kleur waarbij ze erg vriendelijk en prettig waren, zegt mijn inziens veel over de sfeer. Ik hou van de visie. Perfecte pasvorm

Al heel lang op zoek naar goed passende wandelschoenen en met de hulp van Naomi snel gevonden. Iets meer ruimte in zowel breedte als hoogte voor mijn voorvoet. De schoen sluit daarnaast heel goed aan op mijn middenvoet en hak. Top :)
