Description

Made to be fast on the trail. According to Altra, the Mont Blanc Carbon is their fastest trail shoe yet. The Carbitex carbon plate flexes with your foot and gives a direct, fast toe-off, while the roomy forefoot lets your toes move freely.

Stable and protected on technical terrain. The plate adds stability and protection on rocks and roots, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole grips on wet and dry ground. You notice this most in the second half of a race, when fatigue sets in and every step on a descent counts.

A race shoe, not a daily trainer. The light upper and firm plate feel snug and direct. If you mostly run easy miles or want a soft, forgiving shoe, a model like the Timp or the Olympus suits you better.

Choose it for fast races and ultras where every minute counts.
