It performs best in races and fast runs on varied terrain. Think of a trail race in the Alps, a fast ultra over mountain paths, or a technical route in the Ardennes. On descents, in sharp turns, and on uneven surfaces, the shoe remains stable. It is precisely when you get tired that you notice the difference: the responsive Cushioning helps you keep walking efficiently. It Upper Drains water quickly and remains airy in warm races, and the grip holds on wet rocks, loose stones, and mud.

Waarom Norda?

Op een lange trail over rotsen, wortels en natte stukken wil je schoenen die tegen een stootje kunnen en toch licht blijven aanvoelen. Geen standaard model dat je overal ziet, maar iets met een eigen karakter. Precies daarom hebben we Norda bij Trail.NL.

Norda is een Canadees trailrunmerk dat bekendstaat om het gebruik van Dyneema in de bovenkant van de schoen. Dat materiaal is sterk en licht, en de schoenen zijn gemaakt voor technische trails en lange afstanden. Het is een premium schoen, gebouwd met oog voor kwaliteit en duurzaamheid: hij is bedoeld om lang mee te gaan, ook als je er flink op traint. Wij voeren zo'n beetje alle modellen, dus er is altijd een Norda die past bij jouw voet en jouw type trail.

Voor ons is Norda vooral een slimme keuze voor wie serieus op pad gaat: licht, sterk en met een eigen ontwerp dat opvalt, zowel op de trail als daarbuiten. Je betaalt wat meer, maar je krijgt een schoen die er ook na veel kilometers nog goed uitziet.

Do you really only use these for races?

Norda positions the 005 as a pure racing shoe, developed for maximum speed on trails and during competitions. In practice, we find it surprisingly versatile: we use it not only for races, but also for fast training, gravel paths, stretches of asphalt and even when traveling thanks to its low weight, high comfort and excellent grip. This makes the Norda 005 more than just a competition shoe for many runners.

Why is the Norda 005 so expensive?

The Norda 005 is more expensive than most trail shoes because it's built with some of the most advanced materials in the industry, including a Bio-Dyneema® upper, an Arnitel® TPEE midsole and the new Vibram® Megagrip Elite outsole. These premium materials not only ensure exceptionally low weight, maximum grip and high energy return, but are also designed to outlast many traditional racing shoes, making the Norda 005 an investment in both performance and durability.
