The X-Talon series is succeeded by the MudTalon series.
The shoe for the wider feet On wetter surfaces; mud runs, obstacle runs, and wet trails. The V2 fits a bit better than the V1, which was a bit roomy at the top.
The X-Talon Ultra 260 is the most comfortable shoe for soft surfaces. The sticky grip rubber soles from Inov-8 provide excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces.
The 8mm knobs have special grooves for extra grip in extreme weather conditions. This is comparable to winter tires.
The Powerflow midsole provides comfort on harder surfaces. This technology offers 10% better shock absorption and 15% more energy return than standard Inov-8 midsoles.
The X-Talon 260 Ultra features a ballistic nylon upper. This durable upper doesn't retain moisture, so the shoe remains lightweight.
All in all, the X-Talon Ultra 260 is a very comfortable, wide, lightweight trail shoe with plenty of grip for long and extreme trails.
