Description

Light, direct and energetic. The 005 is Norda's race shoe. A midsole of pure Arnitel gives back a lot of energy, so you hold your pace easily on climbs and flat sections.

Grip you can count on. The full-length Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole grips well on wet rock, loose stones and hardpack. You notice it most on fast descents and sharp turns, just when your legs get tired.

Made to last. The open bio-Dyneema upper stays airy in hot races and is stronger than regular mesh. Two insoles are included: a moulded one for training and a lighter one for race day.

Choose it for races and fast runs. For easy long runs, the 001A is more comfortable.

Do you really only use it for races?

Norda positions the 005 as a pure race shoe, developed for maximum speed on trails and in races. In practice we find it surprisingly versatile: we use it not only for races, but also for fast training runs, gravel paths, stretches of tarmac and even when travelling, thanks to its low weight, high comfort and excellent grip. That makes the Norda 005 more than just a race shoe for many runners.

Why is the Norda 005 so expensive?

The Norda 005 costs more than most trail shoes because it is built with some of the most advanced materials in the industry, including a Bio-Dyneema® upper, an Arnitel® TPEE midsole and the new Vibram® Megagrip Elite outsole. These premium materials give exceptionally low weight, maximum grip and high energy return, and are also designed to last longer than many traditional race shoes, which makes the Norda 005 an investment in both performance and durability.

Which insoles come with it?

Two removable insoles: a moulded insole for training and a lighter, die-cut insole for racing.

How does the 005 fit?

Small. Norda recommends going half a size up from your usual size.

Erg prettige schoen

Erg prettige schoen. Erg lichtgewicht, hierdoor heb je niet door dat je een schoen aan hebt. Ook in dikke sneeuw en regenachtig weer geen probleem om de voeten droog en aan de grond geplakt te houden.

Geweldig

Ik was wat sceptisch gezien de prijs en mijn niveau. Maar na de eerste pas beurt was ik om, super comfortable en straalt direct plezier uit.
Direct een rondje van 30km gelopen. Waar ik normaal even moet wennen aan een nieuwe schoen was deze direct goed en ging ik voor mijn gevoel direct harder.

Ik heb maat 47 in La Sportiva Prodigio’s, Norda in 47 1/3 besteld. Voorin iets meer ruimte, maar Norda zit voor mij veel stabieler om middenvoet. Hiel zit ook stevig op zijn plek. Out of the box een zeer comfortabele schoen. Benieuwd naar het comfort over een kilometer of 100. Ik denk dat deze schoen voor mij comfortabeler is dan de La Sportiva. Al heb ik op de La Sportiva Kullamannen Seventh Seal gelopen zonder blaren….

snelle en correcte levering, voor mij werkt de exacte maat ipv 1/2 groter bij Norda

scherp geprijsd ... en ook snel geleverd door Bpost in België ...
ik koos ditmaal toch m'n gewone maat 40 2/3 ipv de aanbevolen halve maat groter aangezien ik m'n Norda 001 in 41 1/3 net iets te ruim vond ... vandaar deze gok ... . en ze zitten als gegoten zoals vroeger mijn jarenlange favoriete Salomon SLAB sense in maat 41 1/3 ... maar dan met meer demping en toch zo goed als hetzelfde gewicht .
