Description

The H1 with a high collar. This BITR edition was made together with Believe in the Run and shares its base with the regular H1: smooth on tarmac and stable as soon as you turn onto a gravel or forest path. The difference is the high, sock-like collar around your ankle.

You notice the collar most on dry, dusty paths. It closes snugly around your ankle, so sand, small stones and other grit get into your shoe less easily. On long road-to-trail runs that saves you stopping to shake out your shoe.

A fit you adjust yourself. With the TUNEDFIT system of two laces you set the forefoot and midfoot separately. The grip is made for gravel and dry trails; on mud or loose ground it falls short. If you don't like a collar around your ankle, choose the regular H1.

Choose it if you run a lot on dusty paths and don't want separate gaiters.

What is the difference between the BITR H1 and the regular H1?

The BITR H1 is a limited edition, made with Believe in the Run. Midsole, outsole and lacing system are the same as the regular H1; new are the high gaiter-style collar and the beige Desert colour.

What does the high collar do?

It closes around your ankle and keeps dust, sand and small stones out better. Despite the collar, the shoe is easy to pull on and off.

How much grip does the BITR H1 have?

The VersaGrip outsole has 2 mm lugs. Enough for gravel, cycle paths and dry trails, too little for mud or loose ground.

How does the BITR H1 fit?

It fits true to size: take your usual running shoe size. The midfoot is a little narrower, so with wide feet it's best to try it on first.
