Fewer interruptions while running. The Altra Trail Gaiter fits snugly around your ankle, preventing sand, pebbles, and twigs from entering your shoe as easily. Especially on dry, loose trails, you will notice how pleasant it is to be able to keep running.

Remains comfortable during long runs. The breathable stretch material feels lightweight and prevents heat from building up around your ankle. As a result, it remains more comfortable than thicker gaiters on warm days or long climbs.

Practical during technical sections. The strapless design makes changing shoes or socks easy without having to undo everything. You notice how handy this is, especially during wet or muddy ultras, when you want to push on quickly.

I don't have Altra shoes, so I was skeptical about the fastening. Thanks to the included adhesive Velcro, it is easy to attach. Hopefully, this will stay in place for the long term.

I use gaiters on trails with a lot of stones or gravel. I hate having to take my shoes off to get something out, and gaiters help me out perfectly!
